known as the mountains of the mountain, mount rwenzori national park lies on an area of 996km sq that protects the upper slopes of rwenzori mountains .from the capital kampala you can take a bus thats if you do not have a private car,pass via mbarara to kasese.when you arrive in kasese ,the park is 25km from the town centre so take a left turn 4km after leaving kasese on the kasese-fortportal road.when you arrive at the nyakalegija trailhead which lies 22km from kasese,your transport to the park can be arranged by Car Hire Uganda at the rwenzori mountaineering services.
