Bwindi impenetrable forest is located in south western Uganda on the edge of western rift valley bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) shared by Rukungiri, Kabale and Kisoro districts in Uganda.this ancient rain forest of bwindi is home to roughly half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the whole world plus another 91 mammal species which includes the beautiful white Columbus.bwindi impenetrable forest is approximately 550km from the capital Kampala which will take you about 9-10 hours by road.apart from the gorilla trekking,the park also has activities which will keep you busy and happy and these include a guided nature walk while following the Munyaga River,bird watching plus game drives and later on you can relax and enjoy your stay at the buhoma homestead which is just located 200metres from the park head quarters.
