Mount elgon national park is one of the oldest and interesting national parks in uganda.while inside the park you can come across flora and fauna a very rear vegetation species in east africa,you can also come across 295 bird species including 40 restricted species,apart from viewing the birds you can also indulge yourself in activities such as mountain climbing and hiking safaris which are a famous sport in this area.
