Africa's Spiritual Heart

Built 40 years ago on kikaya hill about 4 miles from the capital kampala on Gayaza road, the bahai temple or some times called the mashriqu'A-Adhkar is the mother temple of Africa and the only Bahai Temple in Africa where nature, faith and artistic beauty reign.the bahai temple has been hailed as one of the wonders not only in Uganda but africa as a whole, that set aside the bahai temple is known fo its exuberant flowerbeds that spread out to form columns of gardens that widen from the top to the foot hill making it look like a narrow path to heaven.while at the temple, the visitors can take a sneak peak into this magnificent house of GOD built at 124 feet high and 44 feet diameter and supported by 9 big pillars.after your tour inside the temple you can relax in the gardens while listening to the delightful songs of the birds charming around the gardens.
